Attorney General Derek Brown releases weekly public schedule for mid-November

Attorney General Derek Brown has released his public schedule for the week of November 17 to November 21, 2025. The schedule provides details on his meetings and events, which took place in various formats including in-person, virtual, and hybrid sessions.

On Monday, November 17, Attorney General Brown met with new employees at the Office of the Utah Attorney General both in the morning and afternoon. He also attended a legislative meeting at the office and participated in a virtual case briefing later that day.

There were no public meetings scheduled for Tuesday, November 18.

Wednesday, November 19 was spent in Washington D.C., where Attorney General Brown had several engagements. He began with a meeting with staff from the U.S. Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee. This was followed by testimony before the committee on “FLPMA and collaborative decision-making on federal lands.” Later that day, he met with Senator John Curtis, staff from Senator Mike Lee’s office, and Representative Celeste Maloy.

On Thursday, November 20, Attorney General Brown attended a meeting at the U.S. Department of the Interior in Washington D.C.

Friday, November 21 included three virtual case briefings throughout the day. In Salt Lake City, he participated in an Oath of Office Ceremony for Judge Amanda Montague, a former employee of the Office of the Attorney General. That evening, he attended the Utah Farm Bureau Federation’s Annual Gala at the Utah Valley Convention Center.

According to the release: “The following public schedule reflects the Attorney General’s schedule this past week. All times are listed in local time. AG Brown’s meetings may be in-person, virtual, or hybrid.”
